I’ll take 2 boxes of Samoas. Credit card information is on the form below. Still missing your sign-off on the Q3 reforecast.

Paul, I’m not sure it’s appropriate to advertise like this. What if other employees’ daughters need to sell cookies, too? We’d be inundated with requests.

Sign me up for a dozen boxes of Thin Mints! Let me know how to pay.

Is there a limit to how many I can order? Unrelated, your laptop’s flagged for the security patch — I need it Friday for twenty minutes.

No limits, the world is your… cookie. I’ll be away from my desk from 11 to 1 for meetings if you want to look at the computer then.

I appreciate what you’re doing for your niece, but I can’t in good faith support the organization. Please remove me from this email list.

Hey Buddy, put me down for 12 boxes of the shortbreads and 12 of the thin mints. Payment deets are on the form below. We going out for drinks Friday? Wings & Things is having a special.

I’m still on the email list, Paul. Please remove me.

I’ve included my order on the form below. Proceed with caution, Beth is on a witch hunt over your whole “cookie scheme,” as she calls it. Lol, still waiting on last month’s numbers from Mindy so I can submit before Friday.

I need to amend my order. Liz wants 6 boxes of the lemon cookies, 6 shortbreads, and 12 thin mints. Thanks, man. Liz said she’s making lasagna this evening if you want to stop by for dinner.

You’re killing me, Paul. I’ve avoided all those kids outside stores by pretending to be on my phone, and now I’m caving by placing an order for those brownie cookies. Oh well, at least I’m not doing low-carb like David. Although, between you and me, I’m pretty sure I heard him talking with Dan about going out for beers, which have carbs, right? Legal still hasn’t cleared the spring campaign copy, and I’m not sending it out with last year’s logo. Can I get an extra day?

Paul, this is the third time I’ve asked to be removed. Please.

Reserve judgement on my order! I’m aware it seems excessive, but a guy’s gotta have something in the freezer when he’s invited to dinner. Nothing like bringing along a coveted box or two of Girl Scout cookies. Fine, roll your eyes at all three dozen boxes I ordered, but remember it’s helping your niece!

No judgement, Gary. Just grateful I don’t have to fill my own deep freeze with cookies this year.

Since no one else has mentioned a desire to sell cookies, I’d like to place an order. I’d have felt far too guilty not to order from everyone, which wouldn’t have been a wise financial choice. I’ll take 2 boxes of Tagalongs as indicated on the order form along with payment. You’re a great uncle. Please bring your niece by to see me next time she’s here.

See the attached form for my order and payment. Don’t tell Judy if you see her. I may have told her I was doing the whole low-carb thing. If I eat these with cottage cheese, they don’t count, right? Ignore that. I hate cottage cheese. Also, I need the BOL for Tuesday’s shipment, or the dock’ll bounce it.

From: Paul@logistex.com
To: David@logistex.com

I won’t say a word. Besides, Judy may have put in a request of her own. I’ve attached the BOL.

Dear Paul,
Regarding the email you sent to the entire company earlier this week about wanting to help your niece, I’d like to commend you on your efforts. However, the company has asked me to remind you that work emails are for work and not personal gain. Please be in my office at 12pm and bring an order form.

Before you ask, here’s the detailed breakdown of our team’s sales statistics for last month. Saw the order forms for cookies in the break room and filled one in. Sandy will drop it at your desk this afternoon.

This week’s story was inspired by the bizarre trend where some people only read the dialogue in books. One of my fellow WLAG members said we should write stories that are pure dialogue, and this was my attempt.
